About this API

Take a screenshot of any public web page and get back a temporary download link to the image (PNG, JPEG or WebP). Supports full-page captures, custom viewports, cookie banner blocking, hiding your own elements and scrolling to load lazy content.

Include your API key in the X-API-KEY request header. Each successful (HTTP 200) request uses 1 credit.

The returned url expires after expiresInSeconds (24 hours). After that the link returns 404 or 410, so download the image if you need to keep it.

Renders a screenshot of the page and returns a temporary download link.

Tips for good results:

Most sites: waitUntil: "domcontentloaded" with delayMs of 500–1500.
Long pages with images: fullPage: true and loadLazy: true.
Sites with CSS animations: set loadLazy: true, or content may not appear.
Chat widgets / banners: hideSelectors: "#intercom-container,.drift-frame" with hideMode: "both".
Avoid networkidle on modern sites that keep connections open, as the page may never become idle.

Responses

Status	Description
`200`	Screenshot rendered. `url` is a temporary download link.
`400`	Invalid input, e.g. a bad URL or a number outside its limits.
`401`	API key missing or invalid.
`402`	Not enough credits left on the subscription.
`403`	Key not authorized for this API, or the API or subscription is inactive, suspended or expired.
`500`	The page failed to load or the screenshot failed.
